Volunteer Orientation
Tuesday, January 20th at 7:00pm will be or first volunteer orientation. We will hold these presentations periodically, but this is a great place to learn about the Hope Center, be trained and informed, and to sign up.
How Do I help?
Glad you asked! There are three ways to volunteer at the Hope Center!
You determine what works best for you and just let us know!
1. Hope Volunteers- These are the daily and consistent volunteers that can give a specific time each week at the facility. Duties include assisting people, manage/clean/organize building, process supplies, and help with occasional projects with other resource groups.
2. Hope Projects- Residence work, community projects, fundraisers, etc. These projects will be posted at the center and sometimes organized by the Hope Center.
3. Special Skills- the Hope Center will be compiling a database of individuals with specific skill sets to offer their help free of charge to those in need. These would include carpentry, flooring, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, cooking, home management, financial, etc. Let us know what you would like to offer!
